"You look like you have a beach ball and a baby in your belly, and both
are trying to escape through your belly button."
- Kyle Gibson
Surprisingly, this is the first time I felt like he got it. I am huge, and for the most part, miserable. I'll get random days of energy (like today), but most of the time, I feel like crap. 4 weeks to go, and I am ready for this little one to be here! He has exploded over the last two weeks. I've had a reasonable bump for my whole pregnancy, I feel like, but these last two weeks...oh my goodness. Let's just look at a comparison:
and 36 weeks
A lot of the main things are done and ready for little William. The car seat is in the car, the pack n play, where he will sleep for the first bit, is up in our room, and his room is almost done. My hospital bag is mostly packed, and while I still have some things to do, I'm feeling better having the big stuff done.
The ridiculous nesting has set in. Kyle and my Target Red Card should be really skerred. Everything just needs to be in it's place and I have to put it there! My cart ended up like this:
It's not as bad as it looks, I promise. I get as many projects as I can done before my feet turn into marshmallows and I have to rest. I do get a tad annoyed at my swollen hands, as it really doesn't make playing the piano easy, and it makes it kind of painful.
Roughly 4 weeks to go - we're ready for you little boy!
